  • The comprehensive fee is a consolidation of individual course- and campus-required fees. This single fee replaces the prior fees for technology support, printing, labs, facilities, tutoring, student activities and other course fees. It does not replace individual on-demand and non-required service fees (e.g., private music lessons, transcript services, health insurance, and parking). All students at St. Edward's University pay the comprehensive fee.
  • St. Edward’s doesn’t bill students who live off campus for housing expenses. These estimates are based on the average cost of living in the Austin area.
  • You can use your Hilltopper Card to buy campus services and resources.
  • Personal expenses include things like clothing, laundry, and entertainment such as going to a movie or dining out.
  • A personal computer is included in your first semester of enrollment in the program and is needed for attending class in person. See the Minimum Technology Requirements.
  • Transportation costs include commuting and parking on/near campus. A car permit for an academic year is $370.
